“A TREASURE CASKET” …
special thanks to @broni_hendriks_ for finding this 1940's "Treasure Casket" of Barkers& Co Decorative Patty Pans- amazing the condition and quality of the printing on still useable 'erect' angle fluted patty pan cupcake cases some with little metal cooking moulds as well-- Fascinating to imagine time and culture these came from: …very few phones and little phones with screens could not even have been imagined, no television only a few cinemas, and many theatres, a time when children were meant to be entertained by gruesome or moralistic nursery rhymes - killing a robin, fetching pails of water and breaking necks while affluent adults entertained themselves with card games with home made little cupcakes-baked in Cakoes cupcake cases by any discerning cooks (according to Barker & Co’s advertising claims). ..or something like that …apologies for lack of historical accuracy and sensitivity!
A veritable “ Layer cake” like video recipe : multiple layers of motion graphics, tv cooking show, cupcake meditation/abstract animation, all capped off with a Patty Pan Dome Dance Finale.
INDIVIDUAL SHORT CLIPS.
